These environments include Förutsättningar, Utbildning och Resultat (FUR), Lärande, undervisning och bedömning i språk (LUBS), Platform for Research in Inclusive Education and School Development (PRIS), Skolutveckling och Ledarskap (SKUL), Kritiska teorier (KRIT), and Pedagogy and Politics (POP).

Job Assignments:

Successful candidates will be employed as doctoral candidates for four years, engaging in doctoral studies at the Department of Education and Special Education. They will formulate and complete a doctoral thesis, take doctoral-level courses, and be part of a research environment at the department. The department encourages the dissemination of research findings at national and international conferences.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for admission to doctoral studies, candidates must meet both basic and special eligibility conditions. General eligibility requires a Master's degree or equivalent knowledge. Specific entry requirements for Education include at least 90 higher education credits in Education, with a focus on the main field of study. For Educational work, alternatives include teacher education at the advanced level or 90 higher education credits with a focus on educational professional activities.

Assessment Criteria:

Applicants will be evaluated based on the quality of their qualifying degree project, the submitted research plan, and the department's ability to offer supervision. The assessment emphasizes the applicant's ability to assimilate the doctoral program and actively contribute to one of the research environments at the department.
